CBC & CRC COMMITTEE
Meetings: Third Monday of each month at 10:00a.m. – 12:30p.m.

The CBC & CRC committee meets on an ad-hoc basis to review or propose code changes to the International Building Code, International Fire Code, International Residential Code and the International Existing Building Code. The chapter also comments on proposed changes by State agencies to the CBC, CRC and CEBC. The committee meets on the third Monday of each month, which precedes the Chapter meeting that occurs on the third Tuesday of the Month. This committee will meet via Microsoft Teams.

Accessibility Committee
Meetings: Third Thursday of each month at 11:00a.m.-12:00p.m.

The Accessibility Committee discusses and disseminates information related to the California Building Code Chapter 11A (Housing) and Chapter 11B (Public Accommodations, Commercial Building, Public Housing) Accessibility Provisions (Title 24), as well as the Federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations to the ICC-San Diego Chapter membership. The mission of this committee is to promote a consistent application and interpretation of the accessibility standards throughout the jurisdictions in San Diego area.
CALGREEN ENERGY COMMITTEE

The CALGreen/ Energy committee meets every month to discuss Energy and Green Code Standards. This committee will meet virtually.

Education Committee

The Education Committee organizes education seminars on relevant Building Code topics that are important to Building Officials, Building Inspectors, Plan Reviewers and the construction industry. Members are responsible for reaching out to interested industry professionals, scheduling training seminars, securing training rooms and meals and managing payment of participants. This committee will meet via Microsoft Teams.
ELECTRICAL CODE COMMITTEE
Meetings: First Thursday of each month at 11:30a.m.-1:30p.m.
Location: Via Microsoft Teams
The Electrical Committee meets to discuss the California Electrical Code and related construction issues; determine if common interpretation is possible for certain requirements and publish the San Diego Area Electrical Newsletter. This committee will meet virtually.
PLUMBING & MECHANICAL CODE COMMITTEE
Meeting: First Wednesday of each month at 10:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. This committee meets in person.

The Plumbing and Mechanical Code committee meets to discuss the latest plumbing and mechanical code provisions affecting local jurisdictions.
