Membership Benefits
The Chapter host monthly general membership meetings held on the third Tuesday of the month and provides a forum for the in-person exchange of ideas. Membership provides access to the meeting agenda and allows members to contribute to setting items on the monthly agenda.

The chapter regularly hosts training and programs that are offered to members free of charge or at a reduced rate when a fee is levied.

As an ICC Preferred Provider, the chapter hosts seminars presented by recognized experts and professionals on a variety of topics applicable to the enforcement of the California Building Standards Code. Members are able to influence the topics, location, and scheduled dates for the training.

Frequently programs are hosted at the end of the monthly general membership meeting.

Members are invited to participate in various activities including Student lunches, on-campus recruiting, and to invite their staff to apply for student scholarships.

Members are kept apprised of upcoming State legislation and may be able to influence the outcome of State legislation through the Chapter and CALBO.

Members can participate through the various technical committees to provide input on proposed code changes that may impact operations and administration of the local permit and inspection process.

Members can ask questions of the month or may get responses to questions as part of the "good of the order" segment of the monthly general membership meetings.

Members may benefit from discounts to virtual training, access to electronic codes and standards as well as discounts on bulk orders for physical codebooks.

Members have access to the activities at ICC, IAPMO, NFPA, etc since their communication is typically diffused through local groups such as this Chapter.
